The Korean Language Education Center held the 2026 First Semester Completion Ceremony on May 8, 2026 (Friday) at Hyojeong International Conference Hall, with the participation of the Director of the Korean Language Education Center, 3 instructors, 3 staff members, and 43 students.
In this semester, most students were beginner learners encountering the Korean language for the first time; however, through diligent study over the course of the semester, they achieved meaningful progress, reaching a level where they are able to engage in basic everyday communication.
During the ceremony, participants reflected on the learning journey of the past semester and celebrated the students’ efforts and achievements. Despite facing a new environment and language barriers, the students consistently devoted themselves to their studies, expanding not only their Korean language proficiency but also their understanding of Korean culture.
In his congratulatory remarks, the Director of the Korean Language Education Center stated, “Learning a new language is not an easy challenge, but I sincerely congratulate all of you for completing the semester with dedication and passion. I hope you will continue to maintain your original commitment to learning Korean and keep growing steadily.”
The Korean Language Education Center will continue to provide a variety of educational programs and support initiatives so that students can develop their Korean language skills and cultural understanding and grow into global talents who contribute to the international community.
