Q&A

Q 1. What are the eligibility requirements to apply to the Korean Language Institute?
A Applicants must have graduated from high school or have an equivalent level of education.
Q 2. Is it possible to be accepted even if I have a chronic illness?
A It is IMPOSSIBLE if you need to go to a hospital regularly. We cannot take care of students who need to be treated for emergencies at night and holidays, so we may decline to accept such a student.
Q 3. How can I get a visa to study at this school?
A Students are required to receive a D4 visa and there are 2 ways to get a visa.
1. Applying in your country- we will send you necessary documents for visa by mail delivery. You should visit the Korean embassy to apply.
2. Applying after coming to Korea- we will apply for a visa on behalf of you at Korea. (You are ok to come to Korea as a tourist.) You do NOT need to prepare any documents in advance but it costs an additional 100,000won.
Application for two semesters is mandatory, and you must apply through your local embassy.
Q 4. Can I make a payment in installments for the registration fee?
A It is IMPOSSIBLE. Deposit should be made in full by the payment deadline.
Q 5. Is it possible to join a 40-day workshop after the semester without leaving Korea?
A It is IMPOSSIBLE. Students must leave Korea once the semester is over because of the visa. (It is illegal to stay in Korea beyond a few weeks after the semester is over.)
Q 6. Is there any mart or anywhere to visit?
A Yes. There are some marts, cafes, and restaurants in Seorak which is the town that takes around 10 min from our language school by shuttle bus. You can buy necessary things such as food, shampoo, laundry detergent, etc. If you want to go to Seoul, it takes around 50 min by public bus from Seorak. Also Cheon-jeong-Gung and HJ CheonBo Heaven and Earth training center (CP training center) are nearby the school. Some students join 2-day workshops in weekends and after class, some students participate in the evening Chanyang-Yeoksa at CP training center.
